INQ 1 Mobile Phone May 26, 2009

As the elder statesman of tech the branding “Social Mobile” nearly put me off this little phone. I’ve had it for about 3 months now on the 3 network and on the whole it’s a nice piece of kit. I use it for MSN, Skype and 3 email accounts. Oh yes and it’s a phone so I can talk at people on it as well.
Format is a simple slide to expose the keypad anyone who does TXTing will get on fine but I still need to think about what I’m doing (god I sound old). It really is useful not for sending emails but for knowing when I have recieved one so that I can either ignore it, call someone or go to my nearest coffee place for free wifi and a Latte while I open the laptop and do some real work.
Calls are free for Skype to Skype calls but no Skype out so my cheap Eurozone calls don’t work away from the desk but it does mean if one of my contacts calls me I’m always able to answer the call assuming I took the INQ to the kitchen to make yet more coffee. Only downside is call quality can be a little ropey at times with comment like “do you have your head in a bucket?”
But you know what it’s one of the better phones I have used.
